We can today confirm that Matty Daly has left Hartlepool United after being recalled by his parent club Huddersfield Town.
Daly joined Pools at the start of the season and went on to score seven goals from midfield including five in the Papa Johns Trophy.
Graeme Lee has added:
Huddersfield recalled him due to a injuries in their first team. They wanted him back. It’s disappointing for us. He’s a fantastic player, we know he would have had a huge impact on the end of this season. A great lad with a great attitude and we wish him all the best.
Everyone at the Club would like to thank Matty for his hardwork and efforts and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
