Hartlepool United welcome local Youth Alliance grassroot clubs for the first of two family days at the Suit Direct Stadium.
This Saturday as we take on Sutton United we are delighted to have players and families from Seaton Carew FC, Greatham FC and Pools Youth FC join us as special guests to enjoy the match and support the team and we hope they will have a fantastic day.
Stephen Hobin, Hartlepool COO said "As a club we are determined to build strong relationships in the town with our grassroot clubs. I have been visiting many of the local teams recently and been very impressed with all the local clubs who form the new Youth Alliance in the town. I know how much work goes into running these teams from the volunteer coaches and committees to give our youngsters the chance to play football, keep fit, and spend time meeting new friends and enjoying themselves through the power of football in a safe environment. Today we have subsidised the ticketing for our alliance partners to give them the opportunity to watch their heroes. One day who knows we might be watching them play for Pools on the hallowed turf".
The club would like to thank the Hart of our Club 1908, in particular Marty Hewitt and John Sutheran who have been fundamental in the formation and ongoing support of the youth alliance.
The remaining teams, Wolviston FC, Billingham Synthonia, FC Hartlepool and Hartlepool St.Francis FC will join us when we play Leyton Orient FC on March 12th.
