Hartlepool United have secured a sleeve partner for our Emirates FA Cup fourth round tie at Crystal Palace.
Suit Direct, who are already official stadium naming rights and menswear partners to the Pools, will also proudly feature on the sleeve of our famous blue and white jerseys at Selhurst Park this Saturday.
With the tie also selected for extended highlights on BBC's Match of the Day on Saturday evening, the additional sponsorship will provide a national and international audience for the Hartlepool and Leeds based company.
The players and staff will certainly be suited and booted for the occasion this weekend and as part of the ongoing partnership, the club have been supplied with specially commissioned matchday suits which will be worn from now until the end of the season.
Speaking on the Emirates FA Cup sleeve sponsorship, Nick Scott, Group Chief Financial Officer for the Baird Group stated: "When we created the partnership with HUFC and Stephen Hobin we stated that our sponsorship of the Suit Direct Stadium was just the start and we would want to build a stronger and longer relationship.
"We have enjoyed some amazing cup games under the lights at the Suit Direct Stadium and we wanted to help celebrate the team and club's recent success by making the magic of the cup weekend even more special for the lads. We also hope the suits help with the continued team building of the manager and his team.
"We are extremely proud of having Suit Direct on the arms of the HUFC players and we genuinely hope they cause an upset against Premier League opponents at Selhurst Park!"
Stephen Hobin, Pools COO went on to say: "We are building something special here at the Suit Direct Stadium and I think aesthetically everyone can see the changes we are making.
"When we exchanged contracts we always promised to deliver a rights package not out of kin with a Premier League club’s sponsorship agreement and wherever possible overdeliver.
"This additional deal is certainly a win for both parties and I am delighted to have secured Suit Direct on the sleeve this weekend. The video content, the suits, the stadium, the billboard campaigns and the planned work in our local community to tackle mental health issues in our town, provide interview training, clothing and aspirations for the community are all really pleasing to me and I would like to thank Suit Direct for all of their support to date."
Hartlepool United would also like to thank all of our club sponsors, in particular our front of shirt partners Orangebox Training solutions whose brand will also feature this Saturday as always on our home shirts against Crystal Palace, Evolution XR our back of shirt partners and Cornerstone Business Solutions who will feature on the back of our shorts.
