Hartlepool United travel to the capital to take on Leyton Orient this Saturday, and they’ll be hoping to kickstart their season at The Breyer Group Stadium.
The Opposition
Orient sit first in League Two after five games, winning four times and drawing once. Under the stewardship of Richie Wellens, they’ll be a formidable test for Pools.
Aaron Drinan will be a familiar name for Orient, with the forward scoring a hat-trick last time the teams met in London.
The History
The head-to-head record between the sides is identical, with both sides winning 21 games apiece. 12 games have ended in a draw, including a 0-0 stalemate at the Suit Direct Stadium in March.
Team News
Joe Grey returned to action against Bradford last week, and the young forward will hope to be involved against Orient, too. Euan Murray and Mika Ndjoli are continuing their recoveries, and both will be eager to join the squad as soon as they’re passed fit.
