Match preview: Pools travel to Dagenham and Redbridge... again

This is the second time Pools have travelled to Victoria Road this season with the originally scheduled fixture being postponed back in February one hour before kick-off.


Since Pools have kicked on with a great run of form, now sitting second in the National League as they look to continue on from Saturday's 1-0 win against Woking at The Vic.

Dagenham and Redbridge currently sit 16th in the National League on 37 points. The Daggers are currently unbeaten in five with most recently beating Altrincham on Saturday 1-0. A Will Wright strike in the 80th minute sealed the three points for the away side.

The two teams have met 15 times. Pools have won eight, drawn one and lost six. Last season, a 3-1 defeat at Victoria Road in September 2019 was avenged in December as a Mark Kitching goal gave Pools a 1-0 win.
