Pools are back on the road for their third away game in a row as they head to Altrincham in this 7.45pm National League kick-off.
Dave Challinor's men are looking to continue on from their four points earned in their two previous away trips to Halifax and Torquay. Pools currrently sit joint top of the National League on 47 points.
Altrincham currently sit 11th in the National League on 36 points having played an extra game more compared to Pools. The Robins have only won twice in their last seven games with their most recent result coming on Tuesday with a 1-0 victory over Woking. Despite going down to ten men in the 34th minute due a Tom Hannigan red card, the home side were able to take the lead half way through the second half with a goal from Matty Kosylo. Altrincham record this season stands at played 27, won 10, drawn six and lost 11.
The last time these two sides met was back in October. David Parkhouse opened the scoring in the first half before Tom Peers got a late equaliser. Despite the Robins getting a penalty in the final moments, Pools still came away with a point after Ben Killip saved the penalty. The two sides have only met twice in their history with Pools drawing one and loosing one.
