Pools sign Reagan Ogle

12 July 2021

We are delighted to announce the signing of Raegan Ogle.

The defender joins us on a permanent deal from Accrington Stanley.

Aussie full-back Ogle, hails from the New South

Wales city of Wollongong, roughly 50 miles south of Sydney, began a two-year

scholarship at Accrington in the summer of 2015 at the age of 16.

He made his debut in the EFL Trophy tie against

Wolves in November, 2016 and subsequently had loan spells with Ramsbottom

United, Wealdstone, Southport, AFC Fylde and most recently, Altrincham FC.

Ogle, did play against Hartlepool United back in March

at the J Davidson Stadium in a 1-1 draw telling our club website that “Hartlepool

were the toughest team we faced all season”.

Dave Challinor spoke about his new signing:

Delighted to get a deal agreed to

bring Reagan to the club. He's someone we've liked over the last couple of

years and kept an eye on his progress. He's had good loans over the last few years

and finished the season with Altrincham in the division we played in. His

adaptability in the fact he covers lots of positions defensively is a huge plus

and I'm sure he'll be a big success with us and we're really looking forward to

working with him.
