Hartlepool United are delighted to confirm Ryan Johnson has extended his contract with the club till the end of the season.
The defender, who initially signed a one month deal back at the end of September and then a short extension in October, has now committed himself to Pools till end of the season.
The former Kidderminster Harries man currently sits with four goals proving he can defend well at the back and also be a threat in the opposition box.
Johnson has impressed Challinor in the opening games of the season and the manager has spoken about his progress over the last month:
‘Ryan has become an integral part of our team since coming in on trial pre season. His opportunity came early with Lids injury at Chesterfield and he's absolutely taken it. His performances have become more consistent and he's improving all the time. We believe we can improve him even more as a player and are looking forward to doing that between now and the end of the season.'
