Our National League fixture against Dover Athletic has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
A pitch inspection was held at 10am this morning and the referee deemed it unplayable.
Dave Challinor on the postponement:
‘It's always disappointing when games are postponed. It's obviously even more difficult when the game is between two teams at opposite ends of the country as there's a fair amount of guess work going into the decision.'
‘It effects our preparations in terms of today but we'll do some work tomorrow and look forward to Solihull on Tuesday.'
Pools' next fixture comes on Tuesday night against as we return to The Vic.
