Pools join iFollow: Streaming information

3 August 2021

We are delighted to announce that we are joining the iFollowservice as a proud member of the English Football League.

iFollow is the officialstreaming service for EFL fans. With live video streaming of matches, audio

match commentary, behind the scenes content, newsletters, match highlights and

much more, there's no better way to get closer to your club.

The EFL have recently announced that it will return to the position as was prior to the

pandemic when the live broadcast or streaming of any match in England, Wales

and Northern Ireland is prohibited between the hours of 2:45pm-5:15pm on

Saturday afternoons. Once iFollow is up and running for our club, international

audiences outside of England, Wales or Northern Ireland will be able to live

stream both the home and away Hartlepool United fixtures. With UK fans able to

access all the ifolllow content including audio commentary, match highlights

and live in-game text commentary.

With the club opting in for iFollow

this season, we are required by the EFL to move over to a new website that is

driven by iFollow content. The EFL are currently arranging the club's new website

and due to the quick turnaround since our National League season finished, the website

and the iFollow platform will not be ready.

How to access everyPools game until the end of August

With our iFollow

access not being available until the end of August fans will be able to tune in

to live Mixlr audio commentary ( Now subscription based, information below) that

will continue until iFollow is available and start 20 mins before kick-off.

This will apply for both home and away matches.

Match content andhighlights will continue to be produced on our social media channels and Youtube.

Once the EFL provide the new

website and iFollow access, match commentary will be passed over to BBC Tees

who will continue to cover Hartlepool United for the rest of the 2021/22 season

via a subscription package on the iFollow website.

Unfortunately, Mixlr commentarywill not continue due to the EFL and iFollow regulations.

When iFollow is up and running,

you will be able to access different content based on your subscription package.

Please find below the different options:
