Hartlepool United winger, Josh MacDonald, has sealed a loan move to Whitby Town FC for the remainder of 2021/22 season.
MacDonald signed for Pools in August 2020 and went on to make three appearances against Halifax, Ilkeston and Salford City.
Dave Challinor spoke about Pools leaving:
This is an opportunity for Josh to go get minutes under his belt. When he signed, he was just coming back from not playing any games for around 18 months. It didn't work out the way he wanted it to especially at the beginning and during COVID, there wasn't an opportunity to go to another club to get minutes.
It may be a bit of a drop-down for him but he can go to Whitby and get his career back on track.
