Cricket Match - In memory of Danny Shurmer

Hartlepool United fan Danny Shurmer sadly passed away suddenly from a cardiac arrest just before the National League play off final and as a tribute to him there was a minutes applause and his picture was displayed on the big screen at the game.

His mam & dad (Pam  & Bill) have formed a group to raise money to purchase Defibrillators for public areas of Hartlepool, in Danny’s memory  – the group is called DS43 Community Defibrillators

They save lives but the town needs more of them.

Danny was an avid Hartlepool United fan and Hartlepool cricket club cricketer and a cricket match has been arranged at Hartlepool Cricket club, Park Drive, on Sunday 29th August between a Dave Challinor XI and a HCC XI

Entry fee is £5 for adults and £2 for under 12’s.

Start time 2pm.

There should be opportunities to meet the players for photographs.

ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE DAY WILL GO INTO THE DEFIBRILLATOR FUND FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE OF HARTLEPOOL

There is limited seating, so bring a seat if you have one.

See you all there!
