Hartlepool United youth team will have their first game of
the football calendar tonight as they face Hebburn Town in a FA Cup youth game
Ian McGukin's sides last involvement in the league came backin March as they beat Boston United 3-0 at Welfare Park.
The Hartlepool youth side finished 4th in their
league campaign and will look to build on previous good form and put a strong cup

We spoke to Ian ahead of tonight's game:
“It might be our first game of the season, but the lads do
really see this as an important one. They love playing in this prestigious competition
and despite it only being second round qualifying, it would be good to put a
run together and go far”.
