Hartlepool United have gone top of the National League after beating Maidenhead 4-0 at York Road.
That is now three wins from three for Pools at the start of the season as they put four past the Magpies to continue their perfect start.
The game started with a floury of chances from both sides as Maidenhead enjoyed spells of possession. However, the first chance of the game fell to Pools as Holohan picked the ball up on the edge of the box but dragged his shot wide.
Seven minutes in and Holohan was involved again to tee up Shelton this time who found some space but his shot was fired over.
The end to end action continued and this time it was Maidenheads turn to attack. Bisset picked up the ball and forced Killip into a good save down to high right hand side to deny the striker.
Twelve minutes in and Pools were fortunate not to find themselves 1-0 down as Orsi managed to get on the end of a cross and what looked like an open net ended up being a huge miss as he hit it straight into Killip's hands.
41 minutes in and it was Orsi again who came close to open the scoring. A good run by the striker and he was one on one with Killip but he put it wide of the post.
As the game went into injury time of the first half, Pools were able to grab the first goal of the game which came against the run of play. A free kick on the left side of the field was whipped in by Featherstone and Maidenhead defender Alan Massey headed into his own net to make it 1-0 Pools going into the break.

The second half could not have started any better for Pools, Ofosu found himself in acres of space on the left hand side of the Maidenhead box and was able to slot it past the keeper, into the bottom right corner to make it two.
Two minutes later Ofosu had the ball in the back of the net again after he headed home Cass' cross but the linesman deemed it to be offside.
Pools did have their third on 51 minutes when Featherstone's corner bounced around in the box and Johnson ferociously fired the ball of the crossbar that then bounced of the line and into the net. A real strikers goal to make it two in two for the defender.
Pools dominated possesion in the closing stages and youngster Joe Grey made an instant impact coming of the bench. Grey picked the ball up on the right hand side, drove towards the defence, beat three men and shot just wide.
Pools did kill the game off in the 81st minute when Holohan picked up the ball around 20 yards out, his shot was deflected and it flew past the keeper to make it 4-0.
Overall a very positive afternoon for Pools who go into Tuesdays game against Bromley oozing with confidence.
