Hartlepool United are delighted to announce the signing of Tyler Magloire.
Magloire joins on loan until January 2021 from Championship side Blackburn Rovers.
The young defender is well known for his natural pace and one on one defending and found himself in the spotlight after being recorded as Blackburn Rovers' quickest ever player and faster then Kylian Mbappe.
Tyler joined Blackburn as a nine-year-old, and had impressive first full season with Rovers' Under-18s, making 21 appearances for the in 2015-16.
Tyler went on to play a key role in the Under-23s' Premier League 2 Division 2 success, appearing 12 times, before a knee injury ruled him out of the start of the 2018-19 campaign.
Magloire made his debut for the club against Wigan Athletic in March 2019, playing his part in a 3-0 home victory over the Latics at Ewood Park.
The defender spent a part of the 2019-20 campaign on loan at League One side Rochdale, but an injury meant he only featured a handful of times for before returning to Rovers.
Dave Challinor spoke about his new loan signing:
"It has been pretty clear we have been left short in defence and we have had to spend some time looking for the right man to come in this week. Tyler comes with high recommendations and we are very happy to get him in. He is well known for his pace and has also played at a league one level so we know Tyler can do a job for us."
Tyler is eligible to play in tomorrows FA Cup clash against Salford.
