Hartlepool United will be in cup action this weekend as they take on League Two opposition Salford City.
Pools will look to build on the last round as they came out 6-0 winners in the fourth round qualifying tie at Ilkeston Town and once again face a former team of midfielder Mark Shelton.
Salford have just announced the appointment of new manager Richie Wellens who comes from Swindon Town, this was after Paul Scholes was left as interim manager after the sacking of Graham Alexander. The Ammies currently sit 10th in the League Two table and most recently got beat 2-1 of Cambridge United.
The last time these two teams met in the FA Cup was in 2015, it took two ties to decide the round and Pools ended up coming out victorious with a 2-0 win after extra time.
