Club statement- Club recruiting new chief operating officer

13 November 2020

Hartlepool United announces that it has commenced recruitment for a full-time permanent Chief Operating Officer.

The appointment will run concurrent to Acting Executive Director Martin Jesper's interim contract ending which will see him move onto new consultancy projects. Martin remains engaged with the club for the near future to provide support during the process.

Chairman Raj Singh commented:

“I would like to thank Martin for his professionalism and all the hard work to date during what has undoubtedly been the single most challenging period for a football club to operate in. When Martin leaves at the end of his contract, he will do so with everyone's best wishes from the club.''

‘'The appointment of a full-time Chief Operating Officer is a key next step and investment for the Club, both in terms of navigating out of Covid-19 times and also looking forward with a longer-term business plan that we are developing in collaboration with Hartlepool Borough Council.''

The club will keep fans updated once we have further news to report.
