Team News: Sutton United v Pools

12 March 2020

Macauley Southam-Hales is expected to return to contention

for Saturday's game at Sutton United after being forced to sit out last weekend's

defeat to Ebbsfleet United.

The full-back was knocked unconscious during the midweek win

at Solihull Moors so missed out due to concussion protocol but looks likely to

be given the green light to face Sutton.

Pools boss Dave Challinor has no other injury concerns ahead

of the National League encounter at Gander Green Lane as his side look to hit

back from their loss last weekend.

Adam Bale (knee), Fraser Kerr (back), Michael Raynes (thigh)

and Luke Williams (hamstring) continue to work towards fitness, while Luke

James remains sidelined after a groin operation.

Sutton boss Matt Gray will assess the fitness of Ben

Goodliffe after he was forced to miss last weekend's 2-0 win over Torquay

United with a foot injury.

Influential midfielder Craig Eastmond made his first

appearance since the start of January as a late substitute and he will be

pressing his claims for a starting spot on Saturday.
