Team News: Pools v Ebbsfleet United

5 March 2020

Dave Challinor is waiting on the fitness of Macauley

Southam-Hales after the full-back took a blow to the head during the closing

stages of Tuesday night's game at Solihull Moors.

The Pools boss will rely on expert advice from the Club's

medical staff regarding concussion protocol before making a decision on the

Welshman's availability to face Ebbsfleet United on Saturday.

Front man Aidan Keena pressed his claims for a recall to the

starting eleven by climbing off the bench to score the dramatic winner in

midweek at Damson Park.

Adam Bale (knee), Fraser Kerr (back), Luke James (groin) Michael

Raynes (thigh) and Luke Williams (hamstring) all remain sidelined for the

weekend.

Fleet boss Kevin Watson is hoping defender Ayo Obileye is

given the green light to return from concussion, while Alex Lawless is back

from a long-term injury and could come in to contention for a start.

Goalkeeper David Gregory was stretchered off during their

recent win at Maidenhead United and if he remains out for Saturday then Jordan

Holmes will continue between the posts.
