Challinor had seen an appeal on social media from the North
West Corner for funds to help them invest in items to improve the atmosphere
even further at Victoria Park.“We've bought flags, banners, drums and drum equipment and
we want to continue doing so,” read the NWC's statement on their Twitter

Challinor wanted to do his bit and the coaching staff and players were happy to put their hands in their pockets too – and then after the game he revealed the donation at the end of his post-match interview on Pools TV.
“We've had a collection and there's £200 for the North WestCorner because their support is massively appreciated,”
“I would have loved to have given them that on the back of a
win – it wasn't to be but hopefully it goes to a good cause and they will spend
it well.”You can donate towards the North West Corner too now by clicking here.
