Pools enjoyed one of their best results of the season whenthey last made the trip to Yeovil in the FA Cup back in November.
After the weather frustrated the sides on the original
Saturday date for the tie, Pools were forced to repeat their 650-mile round trip
on the Tuesday night. However, it proved to be worth every mile as Dave Challinor's
men recovered from the concession of an early goal to turn on the style in
Somerset.First, Luke James drilled in an almost immediate leveller
before turning provider for Gavan Holohan to make it 2-1 as Pools took control
of proceedings.Nicke Kabamba nodded in the third on the end of Peter Kioso's
precise cross just before the hour mark, before Gime Toure came off the bench
to score from the spot late on to add further gloss. You can now take another look back on that memorable night in our highlights package here…
