New loan signing Rob Harker has admitted that his move to Pools
has come at the perfect time and he can't wait to show fans what he's capable
The 19-year-old front man joined the Club on loan from Premier League outfit Burnley on Thursday afternoon and immediately set his sights on getting on the goal trail.
Harker is enthused by the prospect of working under boss
Dave Challinor and is hoping he can produce the goods as Pools look to drive
themselves towards the National League's top seven."I'm really excited about it," the target man told us.
“I think it's
the right time to go out in terms of me developing as a player and at a good
club.“I don't
think there's much difference between League Two and the National League so
it's a good standard and they play good football.“I know the manager has done well at this level and he gets his strikers scoring goals."
Harker has been handed the number 9 shirt and will go straight in to contention as Pools look to extend their four-game unbeaten run away at Barnet on Saturday.
“The team is going well and hopefully I can help them push on towards the play-off places and challenge for promotion," he added.
