Pools striker Niko Muir has joined Hampton & Richmond Borough on loan for the rest of the season.
The 26-year-old returned from a loan spell with Hemel
Hempstead Town earlier this month but will now link-up with their National
League South rivals for the remainder of the campaign.Muir joined Pools in the summer of 2018 was a regular in the
side during his debut season but has been limited to only nine National League
appearances in 2019/20.“He's been out on loan before and came back probably with it in his mind to go back out," explained Pools boss Dave Challinor.
“We have a recall clause within the deal so we can protect ourselves a little and make sure we don't leave ourselves short in that area.
“It's a constantly changing picture but we have to do the
best we can for the players and for the Club so hopefully him going out and
getting games will do everyone the world of good.”The front man will now go in to contention to make his debut
for The Beavers when they host Hungerford Town in National League South at The
Jezzards Beveree Stadium.
