Pools picked up three crucial points on Tuesday evening as goals from Gavan Holohan and Mark Shelton led them to a 2-1 win over Eastleigh at Victoria Park.
The victory lifted them four places in the National League table and provided a big boost ahead of back to back away trips to Dover Athletic and Yeovil Town.
