There are a limited number of tickets still on sale for an exciting Sportsman's Dinner to raise funds for the Club's Community Sports Foundation and Pools Youth Under-6s.
Referee Dermot Gallagher has been booked as the Guest Speaker and he's a man with a special place in the Club's history – because he's the one who awarded Pools their penalty in the memorable 1-0 giant-killing of Crystal Palace in 1993.
As well as lifting the lid on his career as a ref, Gallagher
will no doubt give his take on the controversial award for the foul on Nicky
Southall, a topic which still sparks debate to this day with fans on both
sides. Not only can guests enjoy Gallagher's tales from the top
flight, but there is also entertainment on the night from brilliant comedian
Lea Roberts – if you've not seen him before you're in for a treat!Another former Premier League referee in Jeff Winter ishosting the event, which takes place at Hartlepool Catholic Club on Saturday 21stMarch – doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

pie and peas – or you can snap up a table of 10 for the bargain price of just
£175.All proceeds will be going directly in to the Club's
Community Sports Foundation and Pools Youth Under-6s so please come along and support
this night if you can.For more information or to book tickets contact Michael Evans on mickyevs84@aol.com or 07949 492 765.
