This week's Friday Flashback takes us back eight years to
Notts County's visit to Victoria Park in February 2012 in which Pools recorded
It took until eight minutes before the break for Neale
Cooper's side to hit the front when Antony Sweeney nodded home Evan Horwood's
precise cross from the left.Sweeney doubled the lead after the break when he ghosted in
to sidefoot home from twelve yards before Andy Monhouse drilled in a third
twelve minutes from time. The victory pushed Pools up to ninth place in the League One table but proved the final straw for The Magpies' Board, who parted company with boss Martin Allen soon afterwards.
