Hartlepool United are delighted to announce that Joseph Parr will sponsor our home tie against Boreham Wood this weekend.
Joseph Parr have been long-time friends and sponsors of the club, in the past supporting through pitchside advertising boards, matchday hospitality and match sponsorship. Their branding will appear on this matchday's social media graphics and on the live match stream.
Joseph Parr is one of the North East England's leading independent Timber & Builders merchant, stocking over 2,800 quality trade products with daily weekday deliveries to Hartlepool.
Following on from previous years' success, Joseph Parr will be using the sales of Christmas trees from their website (https://www.jparrboro.co.uk/) and at their Stockton depot, to help donate to charity. For every tree sold, £2 will be donated to Alice House Hospice in Hartlepool. This money will be donated alongside £356 which was raised by Hartlepool United Community Sports Foundation through their National Citizenship Scheme project.
Raj Singh commented ‘Joseph Parr have been long term supporters of the club and we are delighted that they have agreed to get involved again this year in the lead up to Christmas. They agreed to sponsor the club again at the start of this season, despite the uncertain impacts of Covid at the time. In addition, their commitment to donating funds towards Alice House Hospice as part of this agreement shows the kind of community minded organisation they are'.
Dave Anderson, Managing Director at Joseph Parr said ‘We enjoy sponsoring Hartlepool United and were keen to do so again when asked before the start of this season. We would normally enjoy the benefits of match sponsorship on a matchday at Victoria Park as part of our agreement, but are happy to continue to support from afar and looking forward to supporting via the live match stream. We get a good number of Hartlepool fans purchasing their Christmas trees off the back of our partnership with the club, so it's good to be able to put some of that back into the community through the donation to Alice house Hospice.'
