Hartlepool United will be looking to bounce back from their recent league form as they head into the FA Trophy away to Halifax Town.
Pools will meet the Shaymen three times in just two weeks after the recent draw was made. The two teams will also meet on Boxing day and January 2nd.
This will be the 130th meeting between the two sides with Pools winning 50, drawing 21 and losing 58. Due to last seasons early cut off, only the one fixture was played which resulted in a 2-0 defeat at the very beginning of the season in August 2019.
18 new signings came through the doors of the Shay Stadium during the summer with Halifax now sat in 16th in the National League, having won four, drawn four and lost five.
Dave Challinor's men will be looking to go one better than last year after they went out in third round proper of last years competition after a 3-2 defeat at Harrogate.
