Match preview: Pools host King's Lynn

7 December 2020

Hartlepool United will be looking to bounce back from Saturday's defeat as they take on King's Lynn at The Vic.

Kings' Lynn currently sit two places below Pools in the National League Table in 16th with their record standing at played 11, won four, drawn one and lost six. After not having a game at the weekend, their most recent game was played last Tuesday as they were defeated 4-1 away to Bromley.

The Linnets were promoted to the top tier of non-league football for the first time in their history after National League clubs voted to end the season.

The club were two points behind leaders York City when the National League North campaign was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic in March, but crucially had two games in hand.

Manager Ian Culverhouse brought in nine new signings throughout the summer as his side looks to establish themselves as a National League club.

This will be the first time the two sides have ever met in their history.

Hartlepool have no fresh injury concerns.
