Team News: Pools v Woking

5 September 2019

Pools boss Craig Hignett is seeing some of his injury

problems beginning to clear ahead of Saturday's meeting with high-flying Woking

at Victoria Park (7.30pm kick-off).

Nicke Kabamba proved his fitness after an ankle problem by

returning as a substitute during Tuesday's win at Barrow, while Kenton

Richardson has also now returned to training.

Niko Muir is making solid progress in his recovery from a

hamstring injury, while Myles Anderson isn't too far away after needing four stitches

in a head wound sustained in the game at Chorley.

Luke Molyneux is sidelined for around ten to twelve weeksafter undergoing an operation to repair his injured ankle last Friday.

Luke Williams has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his knee

and the routine procedure has gone as expected, though no firm timeframe has

been placed on how quickly he will return to action.

Woking boss Alan Dowson can once again call upon midfielder Kane

Ferdinand after he sat out their midweek draw with Torquay United through

suspension.

Front man Ibrahim Meite is available after extending his

loan stay from Crawley Town, while former Pools loanee Jake Gray will hope to

press his claims for a place in the squad for the trip to The Vic.
