Team News: Pools v Chesterfield

24 September 2019

Craig Hignett will be without skipper Ryan Donaldson and

midfielder Nicky Featherstone after both players were sent-off on Saturday and

begin two-game suspensions.

The Pools boss has no new injury worries ahead of the clash

with The Spireites, with Fraser Kerr still on the sidelines with a foot problem

picked up in last weekend's game at Dagenham & Redbridge.

Myles Anderson (concussion) and Niko Muir (hamstring) are

both still doubts, while Luke Molyneux (foot) and Luke Williams (knee) remain out

following surgery.

Chesterfield boss John Sheridan is expected to make changes

to his starting line-up following their disappointing 4-0 defeat at Sutton

United on Saturday.

Tom Denton didn't start at Gander Green Lane over concerns

about the artificial surface but the front man could come in to contention for

a return against Pools.

Sheridan will also check on the fitness of Anthony Gerrard

and Anthony Spyrou who have both missed The Spireites' recent games through

injury.
