Team News: Dagenham & Redbridge v Pools

12 September 2019

Craig Hignett has admitted there are some decisions to make

ahead of Saturday's game at Dagenham & Redbridge with several players knocking

on the door for inclusion.

The Pools boss watched on at The Vic on Tuesday as a hungry

line-up knocked four goals past Carlisle United in a behind-closed-doors

friendly in which a number of players shone.

Nicke Kabamba confirmed his return to full fitness following

an ankle problem by firing a hat-trick in the win, while Gavan Holohan also

scored and Josh Hawkes claimed three assists against The Cumbrians.

Niko Muir got twenty minutes under his belt as he continued

his recovery from a hamstring injury but Myles Anderson remains sidelined with

the effects of a head injury suffered at Chorley.

Luke Molyneux is out of action until around the beginning of

December after undergoing ankle surgery but it's hoped that Luke Williams will

be back much quicker than that following his knee operation.

Daggers boss Peter Taylor will have to consider whether any

changes to his side are necessary after seeing them win 1-0 at Maidenhead

United last time out.

Taylor's men are unbeaten in six going in to Saturday's

meeting with Pools so Taylor is unlikely to make massive alterations but he

will check on the fitness of influential midfielder Mitch Brundle.
