9 September 2019

Niko Muir is among those expected to get some minutes when

Pools play a behind-closed-doors friendly against Carlisle United at Victoria

Park on Tuesday.

The front man has been missing since picking up a hamstring

injury in the game at Chorley last month but could make a comeback against The

Cumbrians.

Kenton Richardson is also likely to feature following his

ankle injury, while Craig Hignett is also set to give game time to the likes of

Adam Bale, Romoney Crichlow-Noble, Josh Hawkes and Nicke Kabamba.

“It's going to be good for some of the lads who have beenout or on the fringe to get some minutes under the belt,” Hignett explained.

“When we need to call upon them we want them to be match fitso games like this are going to be useful for us now we have quite a big squad.

“Carlisle will send quite a strong team I'd imagine so itwill be a good test for the lads too so we're looking forward to it.”

The behind-closed-doors game kicks-off at 1.30pm and we'll havea report here on the Official Website after the final whistle.
