£200 by National League sponsors Vanarama to donate to a charity of his choice.Kioso has decided to pledge the money
to the UN Refugee Agency, in particular the great work they do in the
Democratic Republic of Congo.“Being from that country, I justwanted to try and give something back,” he explained.
“All my family are from the country
so I have such a strong connection and bond to the place. I have even taught
myself the language.“There are kids there who don't have
what I have and have not had the opportunities I have had. I can't help every
kid in the world but hopefully I can help a little for some of those struggling
in my home country.“Some of the youngsters over there don't get to go to school and some don't even have enough food to eat so any little thing I can do to help is something I want to do.”
