We have had so many enquiries about this over the past few
weeks but we are now delighted to be able to confirm that Kicks will be
returning for 2019/20 thanks to funding from the PCC and the Thirteen Community
Fund. This year, the project will take a slightly different format,
whilst still having at its heart the aim of reducing antisocial behaviour in
the town by giving young people the opportunity to play sport in a fun, free
environment and keep off the streets and out of trouble. Those of a certain generation may remember our old “SaturdayClubs” and these are now being brought back.
Commencing Saturday 5th October 2019 we will be
holding FREE weekly football sessions from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Millhouse Leisure
Centre for boys and girls aged 8-12.With Under 16 tickets to The Vic just £5, on home matchdays
why not bring them down to watch Pools play afterwards and hopefully we can
inspire a new generation of Pools fans?!On Mondays, commencing 7th October we will beholding two free sessions at Brierton Sports Centre:
*12-15 year olds can join us for two hours from 5:00pm-7:00pm and
*16+ for one hour from 6:00pm-7:00pm
This would not be possible without the support of the PCC,
Thirteen Group and of course Hartlepool United FC so many thanks once again to
them. For more information contact HUCSF on 01429 862595 or email hucsf@hartlepoolunited.co.uk
