Our Kicks sessions began again this month for the third successive year.
Thanks to funding from the PCC and Thirteen Group we are able to offer free turn-up and play sessions aimed at reducing anti-social behaviour for three age groups this year.
8-12 year olds
Saturdays, 12:00pm-2:00pm
Millhouse Leisure Centre
12-15 year olds
Mondays, 5:00pm-7:00pm
Brierton Sports Centre
16+
Mondays, 5:00pm-6:00pm
Brierton Sports Centre
And on Monday 21st October we had two extra participants… Nicke Kabamba and Niko Muir!
Nicke and Niko joined in with both the older and younger sessions at Brierton, taking part in shooting practise with the 12-15 year olds and a match with the 16+ group.
Sessions are proving very popular but new participants are always welcome. It's a great way to keep fit, make new friends and keep off the streets and out of trouble.
Thank you to Nicke and Niko who, as always, were enthusiastic and great fun, and to Pools for organising the player visit.
