Team News: Exeter City v Pools

28 November 2019

Peter Kioso has been ruled out of Sunday's FA Cup tie

against Exeter City (2pm kick-off) after suffering a concussion during the

latter stages of Tuesday night's win at Chesterfield.

The young defender clashed heads with Spireites substitute Mike Fondop which resulted in him needing over ten minutes of treatment before being stretchered off and taken to hospital.

Boss Dave Challinor has confirmed that Kioso will not be

considered for the Second Round tie at St James' Park but is hoping that he

will be back in contention for the game at Woking next weekend.

Challinor will also check on the fitness of Gavan Holohan

who was forced to sit out the midweek victory with a back problem which has

been troubling him in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Luke Molyneux (ankle) and Luke Williams (hamstring)

are working outdoors on their fitness with the duo both hoping to return to

contention soon.

Exeter City boss Matt Taylor will run the rule over front

man Alex Fisher after he missed last weekend's win at Crawley Town with a groin

problem.
