Date Set For FA Youth Cup Tie At South Shields

Pools Youth Team will travel to South Shields in the SecondRound of the FA Youth Cup on Friday 15^th November (7pm kick-off).

Ian McGuckin's men continued their fine run in this year's

competition when they came from behind to win at Accrington Stanley in Monday's

Round One tie.

The reward for that excellent victory is a trip to Mariners

Park to face Shields, with a coveted place in Round Three of the prestigious competition

up for grabs.

Meanwhile, the Youth Team will play away at Chester in theFirst Round of the Academy Cup on Monday 11^th November (7pm

kick-off) and Wednesday's planned league fixture at York City has been

postponed.
