Season Tickets for 2019/20 went on sale this morning and when the Ticket Office opened at 10am, we had our first supporter eager to sign up for the new campaign.
Paul Cooper was this year’s first Season Ticket Holder as he came along to purchase a ticket for himself and son George, 8.
“I’ve been coming for years on and off,” Mr Cooper told us after securing his place in the EDC Neale Cooper Stand for the season ahead.
“But George has been coming for two years now and he’s really got the bug, he loves it.
“Ryan Donaldson is his favourite player so he is hoping he signs a new contract as well.”
Paul and George have their seats near the North West corner of the stand and they are both looking forward to more of the same atmosphere that was created at the end of last season,
“The atmosphere was back, I would even go so far as to say it was the best atmosphere I have ever known here.
“That’s what you need, the players must go out there and think they have someone to play for after hearing that.”
And when asked what his hopes for the team are for next season, Mr Cooper was straight to the point,
“Promotion, back to where we need to be!”
