Liam Noble Signs New Pools Deal

31 May 2019

Midfield star Liam Noble has become the latest player to commit his future to the Club by signing a new contract to stay at The Super 6 Stadium.

Noble was Pools’ top scorer during his first season, rattling home an impressive 13 goals from midfield and a deal has now been struck to keep him at the Club in to 2019/20.

The 28-year-old schemer featured in all but four of Pools’ National League fixtures last term after arriving from Notts County and as well as chipping in with goals he also chalked up nine assists.

Noble, who has a reputation for being one of the finest midfielders in the division, has experience of promotion to the EFL having skippered Forest Green up to League Two in 2016/17.

Negotiations have been ongoing behind the scenes since the end of the campaign and Noble was at The Super 6 Stadium on Friday afternoon to put the finishing touches to his new contract.

He becomes the fourth player to pen a new deal this summer, following in the footsteps of Myles Anderson, Ryan Donaldson and Gavan Holohan.
