2019/20 National League Line-Up Complete

12 May 2019

The National League line-up for 2019/20 has now been confirmed following the completion of the Play-Off Finals over the weekend.

Salford City earned a place in League Two with victory over AFC Fylde, meaning The Coasters will remain alongside Pools in the National League next term.

Woking ensured an instant return to the fifth tier by clinching a 1-0 triumph over Welling United in the National League South Play-Off Final on Sunday.

Meanwhile Spennymoor Town faced the agony of a penalty shootout defeat in the National League North Final, which means Chorley are promoted and will play Pools for only the second time after a 1987/88 FA Cup tie.

Pools will renew rivalries with Stockport County, who won the National League North title, and Torquay United who also responded to relegation in 2017/18 by triumphing in National League South.

Notts County and Yeovil Town are the teams coming down from the EFL after they were relegated from League Two at the end of 2018/19.
