Pools high-flying Women’s Team will get the chance to show their skills on The Super 6 Stadium pitch next month when they host Wallsend in the NERWFL Premier Division.

Jonathan Gibbon-Hayes’ side have enjoyed another strong 2018/19 campaign and currently lie second in the table behind unbeaten champions Durham Cestria.

Their goal now is to finish the season strongly and cement the runners-up spot, which would show improvement on last term’s third place finish and give extra encouragement for 2019/20.

As part of the run-in we can now confirm that they will play their Wallsend counterparts at The Super 6 Stadium on Sunday 21st April (2pm kick-off).

The Women were inspired by playing on the main pitch for the first time at the end of last season when they defeated York City 3-0 thanks to goals from Jade Pye, Faye Garside and Caitlin Bates.

We’ll have more information about the fixture closer to the date but we’d love as many fans as possible to come and cheer on our Women’s Team in action that day.
