Pools loan man Danny Amos will be on international duty next weekend after being called up by Northern Ireland Under-21s.
The full-back – currently on loan with Pools from Doncaster Rovers – has been included in Ian Baraclough’s squad for a week-long training camp in Marbella.
The youngsters will play two friendlies while based in the Costa Del Sol, taking on Bulgaria at the Marbella Football Centre on Friday 22nd March and Mexico at Eastadio Municipal de Marbella on Monday 25th March.
Amos will miss Pools’ National League fixture against Wrexham on Saturday 23rd March as a result of his international call-up.
The defender is the second player this week to have been included in an international squad after David Edgar was called up by Canada, while Luke James is set to be involved for England C next week.
