Former Pools star Len Johnrose reflects on his time at the Club in a special interview with him in this Saturday’s issue of Matchday Programme The Blue Print.
Johnrose is among a band of former players who are guests of the Club on Saturday ahead of a fund-raising evening at Hartlepool Catholic Club which has been organised by the Supporters’ Trust.
The 49-year-old has set up the Len Johnrose Trust and is on a mission to raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease, after being diagnosed with the degenerative condition last year.
In our lengthy interview with him, he remembers the highs and the lows of his time at The Vic – and shares some stories from inside the dressing room during the early 1990s.
Also inside Saturday’s issue is an exclusive interview with Luke Molyneux who talks about how he’s settled in to life at Pools and reveals his targets for the rest of the season.
Jeff Stelling is back with another column for us as he talks us through his recent football experience in Argentina, while we also get the thoughts of Chairman Raj Singh, boss Craig Hignett, Chief Executive Mark Maguire and skipper Ryan Donaldson.
Myles Anderson is our focus in Poolie Index as he talks to us about his biggest fear, what he likes to sing in the shower and tells us about the time he jumped off a cliff in Brazil!
Throw in a full lowdown on visitors Dover Athletic, photos from our games against Sutton United and Bromley, as well as updates from the Academy, Youth Team and Women’s Team and you start to realise what good value The Blue Print really is.
Make sure you pick up your copy of The Blue Print on your way in to The Super 6 Stadium on Saturday, while stocks last.
