The Pools squad returned for pre-season training on Monday morning and we were there to grab some photographs of their first session back out on the grass.
Craig Hignett held a meeting first thing to set the tone for the season before the lads got their boots on for the opening morning of what is set to be a gruelling warm-up schedule.
In humid conditions at the Club’s training base at East Durham College in Peterlee, the players were put through their paces with some ball work, a timed run and a press-up test before lunch.
