Several Pools players were back on the training ground on Tuesday morning as things move up a gear ahead of their return for pre-season in just under a fortnight.
Craig Hignett’s men will reconvene at their East Durham College base in Peterlee at the back end of next week to begin their real work ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
However, the players have been called-in at intervals throughout the summer to ensure they’re maintaining their levels of fitness ahead of pre-season and this week has seen the latest of those sessions.
Summer signing Michael Raynes joined Adam Bale, Ryan Donaldson, Nicky Featherstone, Luke James, Liam Noble and several Youth Team players in a session overseen by Jon Whitney and Antony Sweeney.
