Ben Killip was in top form for England C in Estonia on Wednesday night but couldn’t prevent Paul Fairclough’s men from slipping to a dramatic 2-0 defeat.
The Pools keeper played 70 minutes against Estonia Under-23s and made several superb saves to keep the score goalless before being replaced by Boreham Wood’s Ryan Huddart.
However, the young Lions couldn’t see it through until the end and the home team stole victory thanks to two goals in the final couple of minutes in the friendly played in Tallinn.
