Gime Toure has promised Pools fans he will be giving his all to help the team fight for promotion after agreeing terms on a move to The Super 6 Stadium.
The powerful front man checked-in at the Club on Thursday afternoon, completing all the paperwork on his switch to Pools following a spell with Sutton United.
Toure had options to consider in terms of his future but revealed that he was won over following talks with Craig Hignett and seeing the facilities on offer to the players at Pools.
“I am very excited to be here, I will do my best for this team,” he told Pools PlayerHD.
“I heard that Hartlepool wanted to sign me and, after speaking to the Manager and then seeing the Club, I knew I wanted to be here.
“As soon as I had spoken with him and then saw the set-up at the training ground, I just loved everything here so that’s why I signed.
“The Manager made it clear how much he wanted me so that’s exactly why I am here.
“I want to be successful here. I am ambitious and I want to do my best because I want to play at high level so I hope I can help the team get promotion.”
