The Club's Women's Team face a tough assignment in the preliminary round of the SSE FA Cup after being handed an away tie at Carlisle United.
Jonathan Gibbon-Hayes' side will travel to Cumbria at the beginning of September to play Carlisle, who finished runners-up in the North West Regional Women's League Division One North last term.
Pools will begin the new campaign among the favourites for promotion from the North East Regional Women's League Premier Division and will hope to enjoy a good run in the FA Cup alongside their league title bid.
The draw for the preliminary round was made at Wembley on Thursday.
