Pools Women’s Team will hope to bounce back to form this Sunday when they make the trip to face Wallsend in the NERWFL Premier Division (2pm kick-off).

They currently sit third in the table but are looking to put two consecutive defeats behind them after a 3-2 reverse at Harrogate Town a fortnight ago was followed up with defeat in the County Cup at Chester-le-Street last Sunday.

Craig Devon’s outfit find themselves a point behind second-placed South Shields with a game in hand, while Durham Cestria have now moved fourteen clear at the top having won 12 out of 12.

Caitlin Bates scored the only goal of the game when Pools met Wallsend in the League Cup at the start of last month so they will be aiming for another positive result when they head for Tyneside this weekend.
